Designers Envision the Future of Urban Agriculture
The American Society of Landscape Architects recently commissioned a project called Designing Our Future: Sustainable Landscapes. The Edible City envisions the potential for urban agriculture in the U.S.
I am a Black Urban Farmer because organic agricultural is a wealth of knowledge for my health, for the land, for my neighbors and community. I want to demonstrate a clear recognition of the importance of African Americans utilizing agricultural skills as it relates to issues of food sovereignty and health disparities in our communities.
