Toronto Hosts its First Urban Agriculture Summit
The first Urban Agriculture Summit in Toronto is presented by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and FoodShare. Attendees will learn new tools to advance urban agriculture in their own communities. Together participants will explore urban agriculture's current role and future potential in 21st century city-building.

I am a Black Urban Farmer because organic agricultural is a wealth of knowledge for my health, for the land, for my neighbors and community. I want to demonstrate a clear recognition of the importance of African Americans utilizing agricultural skills as it relates to issues of food sovereignty and health disparities in our communities.
